Sturgeon Bay's Neighborhood Bridge - #1012

sturgeon bay

Michigan Street and 5th Avenue are home to some of Sturgeon Bay's most historical structures including the St. Joseph Catholic Church and its magnificent twin steeples.  The steeples are standout landmarks for the city as they rise above all else.

The covered bridge spans a stream replacing Michigan Street creating a park on 4th avenue.

Sturgeon Bay has evolved through eras of enterprise  including lumbering, commercial fishing, agriculture, shipbuilding, and tourism.  Some still remain while others have all but vanished from the scene.

Original watercolor by PaPa Giz - 12" x 20"- #1012 -  SOLD.   Prints still available.
