Mourning Dove and Windmill - #0409

The mourning dove, not morning dove, is the commonest native dove in the suburbs and farmlands during all 4 seasons. Its call is a recognizable 'ooah-oo-oo-oo'. The windmill was a blessing for the farm family before gasoline engines and electrical motors became available. The windmill provided power for such chores as pumping water or grinding grains.
